As a long time fan of the Scout Guide publication, it was kinda surprising that Orlando did not have one. The mission of the The Scout Guide (TSG) is to connect people with local makers, experts, and one another. In print and online, and on national and local levels, The Scout Guide celebrates small businesses, supports local entrepreneurs, and helps readers enjoy their communities to the fullest.
We were thrilled when Jaleh Benner decided to bring The Scout Guide to Orlando and to include us in their first issue! A big part of being included is your business profile in the printed and online guide, which meant doing a photoshoot. It was comical deciding on what to wear, not even going to divulge the outfit conversations that Morgan and I had. However, we loved working with The Branded Boss Lady in her beautiful studio. The pictures we love!
We were also excited to see that we landed on the page with some of our dear friends, Meredith from Tassel and Trim and Julie Von Weller from Freshly Cast.
The launch party took place at Orlando Museum of Art and was a great opportunity to network with other small businesses. We were so happy to meet Nina Ramos art and Lauren Brown from Poppy Flower Co. Jaleh did a beautiful job with the launch party and we look forward to future events with The Scout Guide.
