Spring Tabletop Favorites

Spring Tabletop Favorites

I love setting the table, especially at the start of a new season, for a fun fresh start. Fresh flowers, color, and pattern changes. I'm also not afraid to use the good china and pretty napkins, even on a Tuesday. My kids love to see and participate in creating fun tabletops as well. I come by it honestly, my mother loved to set the table and have pretty seasonal decor - something both my and Morgan's mom share - the love of pretty things.

Setting the spring table this year, I thought about our new Spring menus and table cards, perfect for a little spring soiree or Easter brunch. I am a big blue and white fan, so I knew I wanted to start there with color and pattern and then add in sprinkles of pastels and texture with rattan. We had our super-talented friend Meredith Herman of Tassel and Trim Shop hand letter some menus for us, and voila!

So, I started at some of our favorite local shops, The Hunt and Lettermade. The Hunt carries vintage and new products, and a lot of Amanda Lindroth napkins. I love the block print look and thought I could use them year-round, so I bought these pretty blue scalloped and block printed napkins. I also really like the Amanda Lindroth grasscloth glasses and basket. Lettermade has the most beautiful embroidered cocktail napkins that I keep on my bar cart year-round. For spring, I love these blue floral scalloped edge cocktail napkins. They just make everything fancy!

Williams-Sonoma is offering the most beautiful collection - Rose Medallion, perfect for spring. I went with the blue base color. Really, you could just get the salad plates and layer them over existing china or white plates. Williams-Sonoma was also the winner for the rattan chargers and napkin rings, along with the cutest and most tasty spring cookies. Their table decorations add such a cute splash of color for spring...however, they didn't last long with my little kiddos around!

I found the cutest bunnies at Target (in their dollar section!). They have grass colored, wooden, and white - for $3 a pair! Too good to pass up. I also have a couple of gingham blue bunnies from last year that I found at TJMaxx. I am a high-low girl! I love combining more high-end decor and tableware with cheap finds to create doable, beautiful tablescapes.

I have really enjoyed having my table set for spring, it just makes the dining room so happy! I plan to keep that way until Easter! Follow along for more home decor, party hosting tips, and more, and tag us in your spring table decor at @kmsudiowp on Instagram - we wanna see!
